VEGAS aka Los Wages

12/10/2009 - 12/14/2009 Had a little special something in my pocket that I took to Vegas. Arrived in Vegas and went to eat Pho then to Rio and checedk Donnie in and then to Palazzo to check me in. We got room 30-something. It was right by the elavator. Later we meet with Sil, Carol and Ed, her husband. We go to Tao, it was a Thrusday night. We buy a bottle of Kettle One vodka. Between 5 people (me and Nam) we get trashed. Next day is pretty much wasted cause of hangover. Meet up with Thy, Thuc Nghi and Jerri. I check them into Caesar's Palace. While waiting for thier room we get something to eat. The thing about Vegas food is I'm rarely impressed. We were supposed to go to the V show but I crash in bed instead.

Later that night we go to Sapphire's, and I meet Kathy for the 1st time. She is friends with Tony, Tim John, pretty much the Cali boys. She gives me lap dances and I paid her 40 bucks. She's not very good at them, but she trys. I invite her to XS. She said she'll wear the same thing she wore tonight cause she didn't bring any clothes for clubing. I offfered to buy her something to wear but she'll have to work for it. She agrees. The next day after eating and hanging around with the guys she calls and we meet at Miracle Mile Mall. She doesn't find anything she likes. We later go to the Fashion Show Mall where there is a Forever 21. She still can't find anything she likes. I told her don't worry about the price, yet she still refuses. Finally, she wants to re-wear last night outfit, but I make her reconsider by telling her that its dirty and smells like smoke already. Only then does shes decide to buy something in the mall for a grand total of 16.00. At least I know she's not a gold digger. I also got to know her walking through the mall for 2+ hours. So we all meet at our room for the pre-party. Everyone who is going shows up. We all get pretty tipsy and loud. We then walk to XS, and Thy gets trashed like I've never seen her that trashed before. We run into Louis, Tu, Linh. Sil, Carol, Joyce, I see them too. We leave around 2, finished apx. 4 bottles and spent 3600 that night. I'm pretty tried afterward and just go to sleep.

The next day we eat with the Cali boys in the Chinatown of Vegas. Later that night we finish the remaining vodka and Remy with Sil in her room. We jump on the plane and head at midnight Vegas time.

At Johnny's with Nam drinking scotch. Met some oldies that ask if we were gay? I wanted to say "don't you need to get your kids ready for school tomorrow?" In reality they were only at least 10 years older than me. 42.

Heidi's Bday

12/5/2009 Started at Tokyo City, had bo luc lac and one sake bomb there. In attendance, Heidi, Elvis, Truc, Tim, Tim's lady friend (don't remember her name), Johnny, Chris, David, Nam, Don, and Ricky. Afterward went to David's house to drink. I got some grape vodka from the store that ended up tasting like cough medicine and some Woodbridge sauvignon blanc. They drink the wine not the vodka. It was pretty nasty. I go to Krogers with David to buy some red bull, end up getting some wine too. David sticks 22 dollars in the self check-out kiosks and then put 17 cents on his credit card. Weirdo! Head back to to the House and the wine tastes like crap. Not very good at picking things tonight. Finally decide to go to City Centre. David stays home and Ricky goes back home, everyone else goes. First stop in Strait. Run into Lundy, Frank and the newly weds Ricky and Jenny. Get a couple drinks here and then upstairs to Mona Lisa. Then back downstairs to the Yardhouse, I like it here. I get a Beer Float, Black and Tan , and a McCallen 12 years for Nam. I get reintroduced to Pretty. Tall and cute. Afterward head home.

12/1/2009 Not in a drinking mood, I have 3 beers and leave, good thing too because it was the owner's birthday and he brought out bottles of Cordon Blu and made everyone drink. Mimi and a new waitress were working. Both of them don't drink.

PRAVADA!

11/28 Continuing my Thanksgiving Vacation, We go to Pravada, I limit myself to one drink apx every thirty minutes. Oddly enough I end up being the one to retell the nightly events. Heidi gets smashed. She can barely walk out the club, I have to carry her, until I get tried and make her walk, but the most she can manage is a few stumbling steps in no particular direction. Truc is also smashed, but after she throws up she is completely sober again...very weird. Chris steps in raw sewage and drives Nam's car with one wet shoe. We also run into Sandy as we leave. While we are eating at Ruchi's which is like one block down from Pravada, Heidi throws up in my cup of water. All the cops in the restaurant look at us. I meet Denise, and Mintra for the first time again.

My first HH

11/27 It was just me, Lisa, and Alex. We started at Sherlocks. Then headed to Trulucks, met some more of Alex's friends there. Went to Bronx and had a round there, then we went to Anvil. Had there Bloody Marys there. Didn't like it. Blurout around there. It was fun, expect for the throwing up part and taking a dump at Tan Tan. Sorry Alex about the throw up in the car.

Thanksgiving Day

11/26 After Thanksgiving dinner, went to Nam Pham's house. Drank a shot of Henessey VS over there. David dropped off Donnie's car at Julie's house. Nam and D2 jumped in my car and we headed to Blue Label. Met Nam's friends Sophia and Connie. Nam ran into the Kazakhstan girl from the bank. After 8 drinks and a Bud Light, my bill came out to 60.00 including tip. Slept at D2 and drove him to work at 8:15 the next day.

Lamour

11/24 More drinks at Lamour. 2 new waitress there. I told one of the owners they look mean. Some of Cindy's friends came and we sat with them and drank Cordon Blu. I didn't feel like drinking so I got small tiny shots. Terry, whom I never met arrives and sit down and drinks with them. Later I ask and apparently she has changed her name to Tina and is Tila's best friends.

Jenny's Wedding

11/21/2009 Got to Vargos around 6:15, sat with David Lee and Kathy. Try to drink some remy but it didn't taste very good. Ate and stuck around a little bit then left cause I was bored. People at the Wedding that I knew Davis and Mashia, Jo, Ran into Nicki also. Called Dong, Hai, my mistake.

Afterward, headed to Nam and D2 to pick them up. Then decided to go to Beatriz and Carolina new place off Washington to just hangout. drank some beers and sake. Afterward headed back to D2 and slept there.

Sunday Movie

11/15 Went over to Philip's to watch a bootleg copy of Zombieland. Carly, meet for the first time, Crystal, Sheena, Tony, and Randy were all there. Crystal and Sheena bought wine. Didn't plan on drinking but had 3 glasses. This time I did feel a little buzz. After movie, Tony, Crystal and Sheena left. And the rest of us went running., at the end of it the effect of the wine were gone.

After Row

11/12 After rowing class, met with Nam and D2 at Pearl to have a couple drinks. D2 was drunk and gave bad directions, I got lost and mad. In the end decide to meet at Pearl Bar. Ran into Felipe, Jesus, Cam and Ann. Later Quyen, Dat and Jefferson showed up. After they left, stayed with Felipe to drink some more. Had 2 crown and coke. Decide to go eat, went to El Rey bought food and went back to Jesus home in the heights. Had 2 beers there. Afterward, dropped Felipe at his car and went home. Didn't really feel a buzz that night.

11/10 Had 6 beers, didn't feel anything. Was the only people in the entire bar, slow night for them.

Birthdays @ Manor

11/7 Got off ten minutes early, and headed to D2's to meet up Nam, Chris G, and Heidi. When I got there we drank my flask of Hennessy that was leftover from Halloween. I changed and we started for Nhi's house. She was having a house warming and we needed to pick up Truc. Got there and stayed for a little bit. In that that little bit of time, I refilled my flask with more Hennessy and we drank 3-4 shots each. Truc traded shirts with her sister, Yen. We all jumped into the Van. David drove, and Chris would be DD later. Paid 10.00 for parking. Linh got us into Manor pretty quick. I opened a tab, bought 2 rounds...And that's all I remembered. The rest is pieced together by my conversations with everyone. I drank Stacey's Miller Lite without her permission and while she was still holding it. Had a talk with Salil about his Dad. Got the green light from Felipe to show Thy a good time in Vegas. Try to choke Nam. Had a argument with him that neither of us remembered. Thought I forgot to close my tab and headed back to argue with the bartender when it was in my pocket the whole time. Try to carry Truc, think I might have dropped her, too. Asked Monica to come home with me. And lastly, I threw up. Made Chris stop at least 5 times so I could throw up. That was a fun night. If only I could remember it.

Lamour

11/3 Drinking at Lamour, had about 6, maybe 7 Miller Lite. Drank with the new owners, spilled a beer on one of them. Try trip Mimi by throwing a chair in front of her. Sat on stage while Michele (think that's what she said her name was) sang I Swear. Didn't feel that drunk.

Halloween

10/31 Drove to Nam's. Chris was already there waiting. Put on Costume. I was Harry from Dumb and Dumber. Charlie arrives and we head to Felipe and Thy's for some pre-drinking. We get there and Nam opens the door and the bottle I got for Felipe falls out and hits the ground. Luckily it doesn't break. Had some drinks, then headed to Etro, Boondocks, Poison Girl, and then got our cars and headed to Firkin Phoenix for Alex's Halloween Party. I hung out with Charlie twice that night. Another crazy Halloween.

Notable Moments: Houston Press Street Team took mine and Nam's picture. Thy had a badass costume as Medusa. A lot of Lady Gaga that night. Pictures captured a lot of moments I don't remember. I got a some fake vampire teeth that I stuck in my mouth for a long time.

Drinking at Dan's

10/27 Had 2 beers, one india pale ale and a miller lite. had the Miller Lite at Pour House because I had to load the ATM. Beau paid 5 dollars for 2 beers (tip included). Then headed to Dan's to drink with Salil. His dad just past away last Sunday from cancer. Drank the india pale ale there, nasty stuff.

Rejection City

10/22, Met at Don's with a bottle of goose and crown. Nam, Lil' David, Charlie, and Chris Akers show up later. Pre-drinkand head to 8. Got denied. Kimmaly and her friends leave 8 and come with us to Blue Label. Sandy and her friend comes too. Get denied at Blue Label. Pick up Randy and Tomas. We all head to Pearl. Start drinking again. Buy a round for myself, Nam, and Sandy. Belverdere Vodka chilled. Leave pearl and head home, we make a pit stop at flats and run into Anthony, Tran's little brother. Head to Don's. Don gets mad at Nam for leaving him behind. Eat and head home. Yawn!!!!

Lunch Date with Theresa/Manor

10/20, Met Theresa at Thai Gourmet for lunch. Talked about michelada. Headed to Mambo's on Hillcroft. Had a total of 3 michelada corona. I spilled my first one. Headed to work buzz at 5 pm. Theresa met with Syndi and their friend Hank and kept on drinking.

After work Nam met up with me and we headed to Lamour. Had one Miller Lite. Nam ran into Theresa's little brother there. (Not the same Theresa that I had lunch with). Left for Manor after one drink. Got there and changed in Vans that I borrowed from Nam. Got into Manor, no problem, was dead inside. Got a drink and went outside where Party on Washington asked to take our picture. Guess we one of the cool people now. Ran into Carolina. met her sister Beatriz, her friend Kerry, who's half black and Irish. And one more friend, can't remember her name. Don also came out, he only drank water. I had 3 crown & cokes, and 2 Maker's Mark with a splash of coke the whole night. The girls drank Malibu on the rocks and Johnny Black on the rocks (hardcore!). Left at 2 am, walked the girls to their car in the Max's Wine Dive parking lot and learn to say goodbye the Latin way. Headed home, picked up Jack in the Box for a late eat.

Bar Golf 2009

10/18, Woke up early to D2 blasting a T-pain song. Picked up Nam with D2 and went driving looking for some Pho. Headed to the batting cages, closed. Chris came to Nam's house put on some golf clothes, I put on mine and we are on our way. The stops:

Too many crazy things that day, so the highlights:
Blue margaritas, no one wanted to drink it but everyone did. D2 got super red after drinking one.
Crystal busted her nose at Cyclone Anayas and we got kicked out of there and most ended up at New York Pizzeria. Randy went to a whole new level of drunk. I said a little too much to people I barely know. Nam slaps Chris with glove repeatedly. Chris had fun. So did Johnny. A lot of hungover people at work the next day.

Lisa's Bday

10/17,Was suppose to meet Thai up for his bday at Joy's instead ended up at Mona Lisa, the upstairs bar at Sorella Hotel. Had a couple of drinks and ran into Q and Ngoc. Meet her friends Shay and Andrea. Smoked a lot that night. 1 unfiltered cigarette and another whole Marlboro Lights. Drank some crazy shot with Lisa at the bar. Drunk, drove to D2's and passed out.

Asian Parties

10/16 Left work and headed to Don's new place in the heights. Lil' David and Nam were already there, waiting for me to get off work and then head to link for a rouge's scene party. Lil' David was wearing his lucky shirt. Had to be there before 11:30 to get in for free. Got there, no cover. No people, too. Meet Dean and some white dude for the first time. Had one round of drinks and left. We decided to go to Bam Boo, for another Asian party. Made a quick stop at Marquis II for some 10 dollar extra large Redbull and Vodka. I drank one in under a minute, and Lil' David got me a replacement. He did challenge me that I couldn't finish it in 5 minutes. I was only able to finish half of the second one. I'm also the one driving. At Bam Boo I run into Tu. We run into Nam's friend Dat. I paid for overpriced water. 2am headed back to don's to drop them off and went home.

The shirt failed...I think.
